CELEBRATE EARTH DAY AND BEGIN EXPLORING SHMITA, THE CONCEPT OF A YEAR OF RELEASE AND RENEWAL, AND HOW IT MIGHT RESONATE IN OUR COMMUNITIES. WE HOPE REPRESENTATIVES FROM EVERY CONGREGATION CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS KICK-OFF EVENT TO INSPIRE ACTION AMONGST VERMONT JEWISH COMMUNITIES.
Earth Day is a kick off event to begin envisioning possibilities. For those interested after this event, we will host 3 follow-up sessions for those who want to learn more about Shmita and think more deeply how we can build on the Shmita year to inspire Jewish learning and connection in Vermont. 3 part series: May 3, May 10, May 24; 7pm-8:15pm.
