Mussar: an introduction to Jewish ethics. Wednesday, Oct. 21st , 7 pm. Our second class. We’ll dive into practical exercises to develop mussar in our personal character development. Upon what do we make decisions? What qualities do we need to cultivate in order to become a real 'mensch'?  How do we find balance between the endless choices that command our attention? What are the ethical imperatives from the ancient tradition? In this first class, we’ll take a look at 3 of the 13 foundational moral principles of Judaism. From here, the class will decide when next to meet.
