CANCELLED: Chana-Kava: Songs and Tea to fill the night. Hanukkah and Shabbas, together.

  • RhM at the UU 152 Pearl Street Burlington, VT, 05401 United States (map)

SADLY, BUT WITH SAFETY IN MIND, WE’RE CANCELLING TONIGHT’S CHANA-KAVA… :(

THE GOVERNOR HAS ADVISED EVERYONE TO STAY HOME…SO, SNUGGLE IN AND LIGHT YOUR HANUKAH AND SHABBAS CANDLES IN SAFETY..

Chana-Kava: Join together in the celebration of the darkness, the Winter Solstice and lighting the flames of resistance that is the source of hope. Kabbalat Shabbat will be woven into the darkest Shabbas of the year. In this dark time of year, before the Solstice, we gather together, welcoming Shabbas with song, silence, and a yearning to take a break from our very full lives. Weather permitting, we’ll head outside and light our Hanukiah (Menorah) and eat donuts, too!

We will take a break from zoom streaming our services for the time being so we hope that you can join us!

Masks are recommended. We’ll provide challah and wine/juice.
