Talmud: Who, What, Where, When, Why and always How

Talmud, Thursdays at noon. So much of our tradition is grounded in the Talmud! Stories, arguments, insights into life 2000 years ago, and how it’s still alive, today. The Talmud comprises over 2700 pages of conversation, law, legend and history.  Over the course of 4 weeks, we will explore the Babylonian Talmud as a literary work, a historical phenomenon and the foundation of rabbinic Judaism. We’ll will study the fifth chapter of Tractate Brachot as our place to jump off. Come and learn!
