The Hanukah Miracle: Climate Activism as a Metaphor & Imperative for healing our planet (and candle lighting, too)

  • RhM 168 Archibald Street Burlington, VT, 05401 United States (map)

The Hanukah Miracle: A Metaphor & Imperative for Climate Activism Sunday, December 13th, 7 pm. An evening with Rabbinic Pastor De Herman. We’ll light that night’s Hanukah candles, and then be ‘enlightened’. Climate change is a moral challenge demanding an urgent response. De serves on the steering committee of the Jewish Earth Alliance, a grassroots network of communities engaging Jews in the policy process at the Federal level. Mobilizing Jews across America to stand up and raise a loud, collective voice for policies that reflect Jewish values, Jewish Earth Alliance is bringing a moral voice on the climate crisis to Capitol Hill. De’s talk will include guidance and prompts to write a letter to your Members of Congress.
