Rosh Chodesh ELUL: entering the month of longing. Tuesday, September 3rd, 7 pm. On the New Moon of ELUL prior to Rosh Hashanah, our tradition invites us to do a deep spiritual immersion in order to arrive at the Holy Days refreshed and primed to do the deeper work of teshuva throughout the month. Through chant, learning, and ritual, we will gather for about an hour and enter this sacred labyrinth together.

In collaboration with Ohavi Zedek, we will meet in the yurt behind their building on N. Prospect. Rabbis Jan Salzman, Aaron Philmus and Hazzenet Jessica Silverberg and others will lead this quieting, centering evening.
